The mission of the Leu Civic Center, Inc. 
is to organize and implement recreational 
youth programs along with family support services 
for Mascoutah, Scott AFB and surrounding 
communities. Our goal is to provide engaging, 
low cost programs and classes to encourage 
children and families to live their best possible lives.

We are a United Way Agency.

Some of our After School kids work on Mother's Day gifts. Shhhhhh, don't tell.


Thank you to all who joined us for our drive through Egg Hunts. Both young and young at heart attendees seemed to enjoy it. Next year we hope to have a hunt for the young children where they are able to run and gather eggs. We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.



Play will resume on March 2, 2021
The gym will be open for volleyball from 6-7:30 each Tuesday evening.

After School Care

We have spaces available in the  after school care program.

After School care includes a healthy snack, kiddie boot camp, homework assistance, and supervised play. 

The cost is $5 per day. To register or for more information, please contact the office at 618-566-2175 or come in and complete the paperwork. All participants must be members of the Leu Civic Center at the cost of $40 per family per year.

Masks are required and social distancing is practiced.

Craft Class

Craft Class
March Craft class will take place on the 18th. Due to high demand two sessions will be held. The first session will run from 5:00-6:00 and the second will run from 6:00-7:00.

You may sign up at this time. The fee is $20 per child.

April will include making bath bombs and lotions.

Care from the end of school until 5:30 on school days. Cost - $5 per child per day. Will end on the last full day of school and resume when school reopens.

Becoming a member of the Leu Civic Center is simple and inexpensive.
Individuals - $25 annually Families - $40 annually
Hours Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Membership allows access to the building and enables you to register for classes.

Arts and Crafts Assistant

We ask that you be 18 or over. (Others may be considered on a case by case basis. You need a willingness to work with children, a love of art and enthusium.
