The mission of the Leu Civic Center, Inc. 
is to organize and implement recreational 
youth programs along with family support services 
for Mascoutah, Scott AFB and surrounding 
communities. Our goal is to provide engaging, 
low cost programs and classes to encourage 
children and families to live their best possible lives.

ZUMBA


ZUMBA
ZUMBA is now at the Leu!!! Classes will begin Monday, September 13 at 6:00PM.
All participants must be members ($40 per year per family or $25 per year per individual) The price of a class is $6 per class or $20 for four.

Instructor: Jessie Janssen

Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba fanatics achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body energizing, awe inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!!!

Play will resume on March 2, 2021
The gym will be open for volleyball from 6-7:30 each Tuesday evening.





After School Care

We have spaces available in the  after school care program.

After School care includes a healthy snack, kiddie boot camp, homework assistance, and supervised play. 

The cost is $5 per day. To register or for more information, please contact the office at 618-566-2175 or come in and complete the paperwork. All participants must be members of the Leu Civic Center at the cost of $40 per family per year.

Masks are required and social distancing is practiced.

There will be an open house for all to come and see what we have to offer. The open house will include a Bounce House for the kids, free backpacks. There will be a drawing for four Gateway Grizzlie tickets, and two free family memberships to LCC. During the event you will be able to tour the building, meet the staff, learn about classes we have to offer, apply for after school care, and purchase future event tickets. Do you think you know music? Do you like Bingo? This is your event. Music will be played and you will need to identify and find it on your bingo card. This is a fast moving fun filled evening with lots of laughter.

Care from the end of school until 5:30 on school days. Cost - $5 per child per day. Will end on the last full day of school and resume when school reopens.

Membership
Becoming a member of the Leu Civic Center is simple and inexpensive.
Individuals - $25 annually Families - $40 annually
Hours Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Membership allows access to the building and enables you to register for classes.

Arts and Crafts Assistant

We ask that you be 18 or over. (Others may be considered on a case by case basis. You need a willingness to work with children, a love of art and enthusium.
