Story Telling (Reader)
Position: Story Telling (Reader)
Qualifications: Story Tellers (Readers) must be 16 years or older.
Volunteers should have the following:
A desire to interact with children
Time and energy as well as enthusiasm for literature
An animated and fun interactive personality
Enjoy young children
Goal:
To share the joy of literature
Read stories and encourage interaction and interest
Requirements:
- Up to twice weekly year round
- Books enjoyed by pre-K through 2nd grade
- Books may be provided by LCC or chosen by Reader with approval
- Time is flexible
Location of work: Inside Leu Civic Center

Special Qualifications: Must be able to climb stairs. The building has activity areas on
multiple floors and no elevator.
