Criminal Background Screening
To ensure the safety of our members all volunteers must consent to criminal background checks as well as sex offender registry checks. Volunteers will not be allowed to work directly with children until this is complete.

Photograph Release
Any photographs taken during volunteer work with Leu Civic Center will remain property of the agency. You agree to the publication of such photographs at the discretion of the agency without benefit to yourself, your family, or your acquaintances in any way. Volunteers are required to sign a photo release form. Photos may be used in any promotional materials as well as social media to promote Leu Civic Center, Inc. and its mission.

Volunteer Grievance Procedure
Volunteers are asked to address concerns they have regarding safety, professionalism, etc. initially with the supervisor. If the situation is not addressed properly, the volunteer should bring the grievance to the Volunteer
Coordinator and then the Executive Director. The Executive Director will make any needed decisions and their decisions will be final.

Confidentiality
All information related to members, volunteers, and employees will be treated as confidential. Confidential means that anything is seen or heard regarding a member, volunteer, or employee will not be discussed or shared in any manner without the written consent of the individual(s) involved.

Emergency Procedure
Emergency procedures are posted throughout the building and will be reviewed during the orientation tour. Always inform the staff of any emergency as soon as possible. Address the emergency first.
Medical emergency
All Leu Civic Center Staff are trained in CPR and basic first aid. In the event of an emergency, volunteers are asked to:
DO NOT MOVE AN INJURED PERSON UNLESS THERE IS IMMEDIATE DANGER!
DO NOT ADMINISTER MEDICAL ATTENTION OR MEDICATIONS!
AVOID BODILY FLUIDS!
STAFF WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING!

Bloodborne Pathogens
Leu Civic Center staff is trained on proper handling of bloodborne pathogens and first aid procedures. Volunteers should inform staff immediately if such an incident occurs. Volunteers are not to clean up or attend to anyone needing first aid. Volunteers need to stay calm and alert staff. LCC will provide bloodborne pathogen overview for all new volunteers and will update overview annually.

All reports of fire are to be taken seriously and evacuation procedures are as follows:
