Volunteer Opportunities
Help us build a strong, vibrant community center where everyone is welcome!
The Leu could not keep running without our volunteers! No matter what you are interested in, we have a place for you!
We have volunteers that help with everything from tutoring to painting and special events. Let's explore our opportunities!

Athletics
Our athletic offerings vary throughout the year, but we always have something coming up! There's a lot of demand for low cost sports camps, and we fill that need with the help of our generous volunteer coaches, assistant coaches and referees!

Miscellaneous
A variety of individuals and groups come to the Leu to help with miscellaneous projects such as painting, gardening and updating our playground and facilities. We could not get these major projects done without their assistance! Everyone who attends the Leu notices the upgrades and appreciates them!

Last year, volunteer coaches also led the Leu Civic Center's Odyssey of the Mind team to OM State and World competitions! OM is a creative thinking competition where coaches help guide their team as the kids create skits or projects based on a prompt. These projects are entirely student led; coaches help by keeping the team on schedule, helping the kids work through differences of opinon and asking questions to help the students figure out their own solutions. There are a lot of families who would like to participate this year, so we are on the lookout for more volunteer coaches!
