About The Event

The art show is open to any student Pre-K through grade 12 who live in the Metro East. The show will have three age groups: Pre-K - grade 5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12.

The grades 6-8 and grade 9-12 will be a judged show with a first place prize awarded in each category along with an overall best in show. The Pre-K - grade 5 group is exhibition only, but each entry will be given constructive feedback.

A Mini-Gallery, open to students Pre-K - grade 12, will also be hosted by the Mascoutah Public Library. Mini-Gallery entries will not be judged. There is a limit of one Mini-Gallery entry per student.

The show will have five categories: painting, drawing, three dimensional, mixed media, and photography. Each piece may be entered in only one category.

Participants are limited to two entries, not including the Mini-Gallery, per student. There is NO ENTRY FEE!  Artwork must be submitted with an entry form beginning April 3rd at 9:00am. Submissions are closed on April 21st at 6:00pm.
