Homeschool Weather Science 

Students will explore the area of weather and climate through discussion, presentations, and

projects.

Learning Goals:

● learn weather terminology and symbols

● become familiar with a weather map and make predictions about the weather

● understand the characteristics and causes of severe weather conditions

● understand how to be prepared for severe weather conditions

● explore the difference between weather and climate.

Dates: January 30, February 6, 13, 27, March 6, 13 (6 weeks)

*All participants must have an active Leu membership to participate in classes.  Family memberships cost $40 for the whole year! Individual memberships (age 15+) only cost $25 for the whole year!
